The items in the fraction collector graphic have the following meaning and function:

Displays the status of the fraction thermostat, off (upper) or on (lower). This graphic is available only when a fraction thermostat is installed. | |||
| Indicates that an External Contacts board is installed. | |||
Denotes collection to a wellplate. The current collection location is shown to the right of the graphic. The tooltip displays the current tray configuration. | ||||
| Starts manual fraction collection. This button is active only during a run.

| Stops manual fraction collection. This button is active only during a run. |
The following fraction collector actuals are displayed:
Current location |
The fraction location currently in use. |
Next location |
The next fraction location to be used. |
Fraction mode |
The current fraction mode. |
Temperature | The fraction thermostat temperature (in ° C). This actual is present only if a fraction thermostat is installed. |
The context menu contains the following commands:

Displays the fraction collector's Control dialog box.

| Causes the LED on the front of the module to blink for a few seconds. | |||

Moves the arm to its home position. | |||

Lifts the arm to its uppermost position. | |||
| Sends a reset signal to fraction collector. During the reset, the fraction collector is in a Not Ready state (yellow). | |||
| Resets the stored fraction volumes of the current tray to zero. | |||
| Resets the stored fraction volumes of the current tube tray to zero. | |||

Switches the fraction collector thermostat on.

Switches the fraction collector thermostat off.
| |||
| Displays the Define and edit Wellplates dialog box.
| |||
|
Displays the Tray and Plate Configuration dialog box. |
