Each module panel comprises four sections:
The title bar contains the following items:
Module name |
The tooltip for the module name shows the part number and serial number of the module. |
Iconizes the module panel as a button in the instrument status bar. The instrument status bar button contains the module icon and name, and is color-coded according to the status of the module. Clicking the button restores the module panel. |

Full-sized module panels Switches a full-sized module panel to half-size by hiding the module actuals. Half-sized module panels of the same kind (for example, two detectors) can be grouped together. | |
Half-sized module panels Switches a half-sized module panel to full-size by displaying the module actuals. |
The module status bar contains the following items:

Displays the module's current status both as text and by its color-coding. In online mode, the tooltip of the status bar gives more information about the module's status. |
| Turns the module on. The tooltip shows what happens when the button is clicked. |
| Turns the module off. The tooltip shows what happens when the button is clicked. |
| Displays the EMF (Early Maintenance Feedback) status of the module by its EMF-specific color-coding.
The tooltip gives further information about the EMF status. To modify EMF limits or clear EMF values, use the Agilent Lab Advisor. |
The module actuals display contains a table of the current parameter values for the module.

Right-clicking in the module panel displays a context menu that allows you access to the module's setup and control parameters, as well as selected configuration and direct access parameters.
