Set the IP address of the Single Quadrupole in the Agilent Single Quadrupole LC/MS Configuration dialog. You may need to change the default address, depending on how your lab is set up.
In OpenLab Control Panel, select your LC/MS instrument, and click Configure Instrument in the Ribbon.
Select the Single Quadrupole LC/MS module in the Available modules list, and click the right arrow.
Double-click the Single Quadrupole LC/MS module in the Configured modules list.
Enter the IP address.
Optional. To indicate that your MS hardware configuration is enabled for fraction collection and to view fraction collection trigger signals parameters in the Method Editor, select Fraction collection enabled.

Click Connect to update the values under the Instrument settings group.
The Instrument settings group shows the Model, the Serial number, and the Firmware revision. These values cannot be edited. They are displayed after you connect to the instrument.
Once the instrument connection has been successfully established, click Download MS instrument information to download factory autotune files, instrument performance reports (IDL Report), and regulatory conformity documentation to your local machine.

The files are downloaded to the logfiles folder. The downloaded folder will be shown in the Local Log Files table in the Control Panel Adminsitration > Diagnostics page.
