Use the commands in the shortcut menu for the SQ device to put the instrument in Standby for LC/MSD iQ instruments.
If needed, click Instrument Status.
If needed, click Take. In this image, Take is already selected.
In the Instrument Status window, click the Dashboard tab.
Right-click the SQ device, and select Standby. The SQ is in standby and not ready to run.
For 6120 and 6130 LC/MS, 6125 LC/MSD, and 6135 LC/MSD XT instruments, the default standy settings are as follows:
