Open a method (LC/MS)

A method has the extension .amx. If you are opening a method from a previous version, see Open a method from a previous version.

If opening a method from an MSD iQ, Pro iQ, or Pro iQ Plus instrument, the tune file defaults to atunes.tune.

1. Click Method.

   

2. Click  in the Acquisition Method toolbar. The Open an acquisition method dialog opens.

3. Select the method that you want to open. Click  to switch to a different folder. You can only select from methods within the current project.

4. Click Open.
