Use this Timetable to specify that the calibrant is on so that you can acquire in-acquisition calibration spectra or to change the direction of the diverter valve during the run to send the stream either to the MS or to Waste.
During a run, to control when the stream from the LC is going to the MS, set the diverter valve to only send the LC stream to the MS during certain times during the run.
If necessary, show the Timetable section.
Click Method.
In the Acquisition Method window in the navigation pane, click Instrument Setup > SQ.
In the navigation pane, select Advanced Acquire > Timetable.
Enter the Start Time (min).
Select the Type. Options include Diverter or Calibrant.
Select the Value.
If the Type is Diverter, the Value can be To MS or To waste.
If the Type is Calibrant, the Value can be On or Off. When the Calibrant is off, the diverter will be set to MS. When the Calibrant is on, the diverter valve will be set to waste.
