Instrument configuration

A table displays for each channel present:

• Disabled: check the disabled check box to disable the channel in the instrument. Clear this check box to enable the channel.
• Carrier gas: select the carrier gas in use by the channel.
• Description: displays the description of the column installed in the channel.

Continuous flow: check the continuous flow check box to activate the continuous flow mode option if required. Clear this check box to deactivate this option.

Use peak simulation: check the use peak simulation check box to activate the peak simulation on all available channels if required. Clear this check box to deactivate the peak simulation.

Use Gasifier: check the Use Gasifier check box to use the accessory. The gasifier accessory is used to gasify liquid samples or to expand high-pressure gaseous samples before injection into the GC.

Flush cycles: select the number of flush cycles that will be performed at startup of the instrument or when the pressure is restored after a low pressure error.

Pressure unit: select the unit of pressure that will be used in the method and status screens of the driver.

The channel disabled, channel carrier gas selection, continuous flow and Flush cycles parameters that can be modified by the user are sent to the instrument. To apply these changes, press the Apply configuration button below the table.

 

The configuration changes cannot be applied when the instrument is initializing, flushing or in run.
