The settings in this page are only relevant for the value part of the data field. The label part is not affected by these settings.
In the value part of a data field, a dynamic expression is typically used. The button opens the Expression Editor that helps you build dynamic expressions. Dynamic expressions must always start with an equals sign.
With font-related properties, you change the appearance of the text characters contained in the text field.

Name of the font family. To change the font family, select a different name in the list box below. |

Font size in points (pt). To change the size, select a different size in the drop-down list. Only the sizes shown in the drop-down list are available; you cannot enter other sizes. |

Style |
Font style. Here, you choose whether the text is shown normal or in italics. |

Weight |
Font weight. Here, you choose whether the text is shown normal or in bold. |

Decoration |
Font decoration. Here, you choose additional text decorations. |

Font Color |
Color of the text itself. |

Background Color |
Color of the background of the field. |
The Preview area shows the appearance of the currently selected settings.
