The Barcode parameter helps simplify sample tracking by giving each sample a unique identifier. To fill the Barcode parameter, scan the barcode of the sample container using an barcode scanner.
If a barcode value is available in the Barcode field, hover over it or keep it pressed to display a tooltip showing the current vial position of the respective vial. This works only if the vial is part of a vial tray that was scanned by the instrument's barcode reader. If the barcode reader cannot find the vial, the tooltip shows Barcode not found in instrument instead.
If your injection source is a sampler with a barcode scanner enabled, and both the barcode and vial parameter fields are empty, the sequence line is returned as incomplete. Make sure to fill at least one of these parameters before scheduling.
