MAM for OpenLab CDS (Multi-Attribute Method)

Required components

MAM for OpenLab CDS is supported with the following hardware:

• Agilent 1290 Infinity III Bio-LC, with either

  • 6230C LC/TOF

  • 6545XT AdvanceBio LC/Q-TOF

Required software:

• MAM For OpenLab CDS (Multi-Attribute Method), M5801AA

• OpenLab CDS v3.0 or later

MAM workflow

Main steps in a MAM workflow:

1. Configure MAM sample custom parameters in the OpenLab CDS project: Create custom parameters.

2. Prepare an acquisition method.

3. In the sequence table:

   • Select a MAM processing method

   • Edit MAM sample custom parameter values: Use Custom Parameters.

4. Submit a sequence with MAM method and MAM parameters to the Run Queue.

5. When acquisition is complete, the MAM processing application is called by OpenLab CDS. The next injection is acquired while the current line is processed in MAM for OpenLab CDS.

 

Operational continuity

In case of network disruption data acquisition for the currently acquiring sequence will be completed; no MAM data processing occurs. The data processing would require manually starting in MAM for OpenLab CDS.
