Prep Pump Cluster Dashboard Panel

Module Graphic

The items in the Prep Pump Cluster graphic have the following meaning and function:

	Indicates that an External Contacts board is installed.
	When the solvent level falls below the specified volume, the yellow warning is shown; when the bottle is empty, the red error is shown. Clicking on the solvent bottle displays the Bottle Fillings dialog box. The tooltip for the bottle shows the solvent name.
	The pressure setpoints. The red line shows the current maximum pressure limit; the gray area shows the current pressure (also shown as text).

The current solvent flow rate (in mL/min) is displayed above the pressure display.

Actuals

The following pump actuals are displayed for each pump in the cluster:

Flow	The current solvent flow rate (in mL/min).
Ripple	The current ripple (in %).
Pressure Limit	The current maximum pressure limit.
Composition	The contributions of each channel to the current solvent composition.
Purge Status	The current status of the purge, idle or active.

Context Menu

The context menu contains the following commands:

	Control	Displays the pump's Control dialog box.
	Method	Displays the pump's Method Setup dialog box.
	Identify Device	Displays a submenu that allows you to identify either each individual device or all devices in the cluster: Selecting an individual device from the submenu causes the LED on the front of the selected device to blink for a few seconds. Selecting All from the submenu causes the LEDs of all devices in the cluster to blink.
	Switch On Switch Off	Toggles the status of the pump, on or off.
	Bottle Fillings	Displays the Bottle Fillings dialog box.
	Purge on Purge off	Toggles the status of the purge, on or off.
