Valve Dashboard Panel

Module Graphic

Shows a graphic of the actual installed valve.

The G1170A External Valve Drive shows the graphic for the valve head that is installed.

Actuals

The following valve actual is displayed:

Position

The current valve position.

Context Menu

The context menu contains the following commands, depending on the configured valve:

Control

(G1170A only)

Displays the valve's Control dialog box.

Method

Displays the valve's Method Setup dialog box.

Error Method

  • Set Error Method

    Sets the error method to the method that is currently available in the hardware. The error methods are loaded automatically on all modules if an error occurs.

  • Clear Error Method

    Removes the currently loaded error method.

Identify Device

Causes the LED on the front of the module to blink for a few seconds.

Switch Valve

Displays the Switch valve position dialog box, which allows you to switch the valve to a new position.

The menu graphic depends on the valve type.
