For LC/MSD iQ, Pro iQ, and Pro iQ Plus LC/MS instruments, when fraction collection is not enabled (Fraction collection enabled is not selected during instrument configuration), the Fraction collection trigger signals FCTS) table will not be shown in the Advanced Acquire > Acquisition section.
All MBFC SIMs will appear in the Acquisition Parameters table
All MBFC-specific parameters will be preserved but will not be visible in the Acquisition table
The MBFC-specific parameters will be visible the next time the method is loaded on a system where MBFC is enabled
If a fraction collector module is not configured on the instrument or the OpenLab CDS software version does not support mass-based fraction collection, when loading a method with Fraction collection trigger signals, the Fraction collection trigger signals SIMs will appear in the Acquisition Parameters table and all Fraction collection trigger signals will be removed. The audit trail records the information that was removed.
