Delete spectra or chromatograms extracted from the 2nd dimension

Preparations

  • To delete extracted spectra as described, you need the privilege Data Processing > Do manual spectrum extraction . To delete extracted chromatograms as described, you need the privilege Data Processing > Do manual chromatogram extraction . Privileges are configured in the Control Panel.

  • The data file is writable. Read-only data files are shown with a read-only symbol in the injection tree.

  • The signals that you want to delete have been extracted manually (for example, SIM signals from ChemStation cannot be deleted).

  1. Open the Signal Selection tab of the Sampling Table window.

  2. To hide a signal temporarily, clear the check box for the relevant item.

  3. To delete a single spectrum or extracted chromatogram, click next to it.

    To delete multiple items, select the relevant check boxes, then click next to Extracted Chromatograms or Extracted Spectra. You can delete either all selected or all unselected items.

NOTE

If your sample names are very long, the Delete icon might be hidden. To make it visible, scroll horizontally, or enlarge the Sampling Table window.
