In a 2D-LC method, the compound table contains additional and renamed information:
Type | The icon indicates whether it is internal or external standard, a normal or time reference compound. External standard, two-dimensional compound External standard, two-dimensional time reference compound Internal standard, two-dimensional compound or time reference compound |
Exp. ¹D RT | The retention time in minutes where the compound is expected in the first dimension. |
RRT ¹D | Relative retention time (RRT) in the first dimension. You typically enter an RRT value from the literature. The expected ¹D retention time of the compound is then updated. Also vice versa, if you change the expected ¹D retention time, the RRT ¹D value is updated. See Use relative retention times (RRT). |
RRT ²D | Relative retention time (RRT) in the second dimension. |
Absolute RT Window ¹D (min) | The window in minutes around the expected ¹D retention time that defines the range in which the compound will be identified in the first dimension. |
Relative RT Window ¹D (%) | The window in percent (%) around the expected ¹D retention time that defines the range in which the compound will be identified in the first dimension. |
Exp. ²D RT | The retention time in minutes where the compound is expected in the second dimension. Not editable for 1D compounds. |
Absolute RT Window ²D (min) | The window in minutes around the expected ²D retention time that defines the range in which the compound will be identified in the second dimension. Not editable for 1D compounds. |
Relative RT Window ²D (%) | The window in percent (%) around the expected ²D retention time that defines the range in which the compound will be identified in the second dimension. Not editable for 1D compounds. |
¹D RT update | You can define if and when the system replaces the expected ¹D RT in the method by a corrected ¹D RT. With time references, an additional general factor is used in the formula. For details on the calculation, see Calculations for updated retention times . You can choose between the following modes for updating the expected RT:
|
¹D RT update factor (%) | The extent of correction, used to calculate a corrected ¹D retention time. See ¹D RT Update. |
²D RT update | You can define if and when the system replaces the expected ²D RT in the method by a corrected ²D RT. With time references, an additional general factor is used in the formula. For details on the calculation, see Calculations for updated retention times . You can choose between the following modes for updating the expected RT:
|
²D RT update factor (%) | The extent of correction, used to calculate a corrected ²D retention time. See ²D RT Update. |
