Feed Speed | The Feed Speed is the speed of delivery of the sample into the solvent flow.
Adaptive Select this option to set the Feed Speed to a proportion of the pump flow. Typically, a high value (default 80%) is used for isocratic analyses; and a low value (default 5%) is used for gradient analyses. If the Feed Speed results in a flow that is outside the sampler's limits (lower and upper), the injector will generate an error before the sample is drawn and the run/sequence is aborted. Fixed Select this option to set the Feed Speed to a fixed value; enter the value in the field. If the Feed Speed is set to a flow that is above the pump's limits, the injector will generate an error before the sample is drawn and the run/sequence is aborted.
If the remaining metering volume is insufficient for feed injection, the injector will generate an error after the sample is drawn and the run/sequence is aborted. |
Flush Out | Specifies the volume of solvent to use to flush out the injection path.
Mode Mark the automatic check box to use the volume of solvent calculated based on the injection volume and the volumes of the seat and loop capillaries. Volume When the automatic check box is cleared, specify the flush-out volume in the field.
