The items in the pump graphic have the following meaning and function:
| Indicates that an External Contacts board is installed. |
| When the solvent level falls below the specified volume, the yellow warning is shown; when the bottle is empty, the red error is shown. The tooltip for the bottle shows the solvent name. If Level Sensing is configured, clicking on the solvent bottle displays the Level Sensing Assignment dialog box. Otherwise the Bottle Fillings dialog box is displayed. |
| (G4204A, G7104A/C and G7131A/C) Indicates that the ISET option is installed but with no active method (gray) or installed and active (black). |
| (G4204A, G7104A/C and G7131A/C) Indicates that Blend Assist is activated in the method. |
| The pressure setpoints. The red line shows the current maximum pressure limit; the gray area shows the current pressure (also shown as text). |
The current solvent flow rate (in mL/min) is displayed above the pressure display.
The following pump actuals are displayed:
Flow | The current solvent flow rate (in mL/min). |
Pressure | The current pump pressure (in bar or psi). |
Ripple | (Not G4204A or G7104A/C) The current ripple (in %). |
Tuning | (G4204A and G7104A/C) Indicates the tuning efforts of 1290 Infinity pumps. For pumps operating as expected, the signal should stay in a range of -1 to +1 within the full scale of -2 to +2. |
Pressure Limit | The current maximum pressure limit. |
Composition A, B, C, D | The percentage contribution of each of the solvent channels to the current solvent composition. |
Mixer | The installed mixer type. |
Solvent <n> | The solvent configured for each channel. |
Purge Status | The current status of the pump purge. (G4204A only) |
Prepare Pump | Displays the current pump preparation operation and the remaining duration for Purge or Conditioning, or the run time for Prime. (G7104A/C only) |
Valve Position | The current valve position. (G4204A and G7104A/C) |
The context menu contains the following commands:
Control | Displays the pump's Control dialog box.
Method | Displays the pump's Method Setup dialog box.
| Error Method |
|
| Identify Device | Causes the LED on the front of the module to blink for a few seconds. |
Switch On/Off | Toggles the status of the pump, on or off.
Bottle Fillings | Displays the Bottle Fillings dialog box.
Level Sensing Assignment | Displays the Level Sensing Assignment dialog box. The menu item is present only when Level Sensing is configured.
Zero | Displays the Zero dialog box. The menu item is present only when Level Sensing is configured.
| Purge On/Off | (G4204A only) Toggles the status of the pump purge, on or off. |
| Prime On | (G4204A only) Turns on the pump priming function. Priming is turned off automatically. |
| Conditioning On/Off | (G4204A only) Toggles the status of system conditioning, on or off. |
| Prepare Pump | (G7104A/C and G7131A/C) Displays the Prepare Pump dialog box. |
| Flush Filter On/Off | (G4204A, G7104A/C and G7131A/C) Toggles the status of filter flushing, on or off. |
| Seal Wash Prime | (G7104A/C and G7131A/C) Allows you to ensure that all air bubbles in the seal wash lines are removed (for example, after the seal wash solvent bottle has been refilled). |
