The items in the pump graphic have the following meaning and function:
| (G1361A only) Indicates that an External Contacts board is installed. |
| When the solvent level falls below the specified volume, the yellow warning is shown; when the bottle is empty, the red error is shown. The tooltip for the bottle shows the solvent name. If Level Sensing is configured, clicking on the solvent bottle displays the Level Sensing Assignment dialog box. Otherwise the Bottle Fillings dialog box is displayed. |
| (G7161B only) Indicates the presence of a solvent selection valve. Use the context menu to switch the valve. |
| The pressure setpoints. The red line shows the current maximum pressure limit; the gray area shows the current pressure (also shown as text). |
| (G7161B with second pressure sensor only) The pressure setpoints. The red lines show the current maximum pressure limits; the gray areas show the current pressures (also shown as text above and below the graphic). |
The current solvent flow rate (in mL/min) is displayed above the pressure display.
The following pump actuals are displayed:
Flow | The current solvent flow rate (in mL/min). |
Pressure | The current pump pressure (in bar or psi). |
Pressure A, B | (G7161B with second pressure sensor only) The current pressure readings of each of the two pressure sensors. |
Ripple | (G1361A and G7161B) The current ripple (in %). |
Ripple A, B | (G7161B with second pressure sensor only) The current ripple readings (in %) of each of the two pressure sensors. |
Pressure Limit | The current maximum pressure limit. The reason for any limitation to the maximum pressure limit is displayed (G7161A/B only) |
Flow Limit | The current maximum flow limit. The reason for any limitation to the maximum flow limit is displayed (G7161A/B only) |
Composition A, B | (G7161A/B only) The percentage contribution of each of the solvent channels to the current solvent composition. |
Purge Status | (G1361A only) The current status of the purge, on or off. |
Purge Time | (G1361A only) The current purge time (in minutes). |
The context menu contains the following commands:
Control | Displays the pump's Control dialog box.
Method | Displays the pump's Method Setup dialog box.
| Error Method |
|
| Identify Device | Causes the LED on the front of the module to blink for a few seconds. |
Switch On/Off | Toggles the status of the pump, on or off.
Switch Solvent Selection Valve A/B | (G7161B only) Switches the solvent selection valve to the alternative position.
Bottle Fillings | Displays the Bottle Fillings dialog box.
Level Sensing Assignment | Displays the Level Sensing Assignment dialog box. The menu item is present only when Level Sensing is configured.
Zero | Displays the Zero dialog box. The menu item is present only when Level Sensing is configured.
| Purge on/off | (G1361A only) Toggles the status of the purge, on or off. |
| Seal Wash Prime | (G7161A/B only) Allows you to ensure that all air bubbles in the seal wash lines are removed (for example, after the seal wash solvent bottle has been refilled). |
| Modify | Manual Flow Limit Displays the Manual Flow Limit dialog box, which allows you to set an upper limit on the flow rate. |
