Injector programs allow the pretreatment of samples, e.g. the dilution of highly concentrated samples or outside wash of the needle in the specified location before injection.
An active injector program replaces the standard injection cycle.
Injector workflows provide templates for common injector programs. Before you create an injector program, check whether an injector workflow exists for the required pretreatment.
The user interface has a workflow view for injector workflows and an advanced view for user-defined injector programs. The Advanced check box at the top right of both views toggles between the views.
Injector workflows provide templates for creating complex injector programs by specifying only the most important parameters and without the need to know all the single injector program steps. Since they create an advanced injector program there is no difference in their execution. You can view and change injector workflows in the advanced view. If the changes are compatible with the injector workflow, you can return to the workflow view.
To program the pretreatment of samples, select Injector Program from the context menu of the sampler's Dashboard (this is also possible from within the CDS).
If no injector program is active, then the workflow view is displayed initially. To create an injector program in the workflow view, click Select Workflow and select a workflow template. To create an injector program in the advanced view, mark the Advanced check box at the top right of the view.
If an injector program is active that matches an injector workflow, then the injector program is displayed in the workflow view. You can edit the parameter settings.
Otherwise the injector program is displayed in the advanced view. You can add or delete functions and edit the parameter settings.
