Module Identifier

The type and serial number of the detector.

Dimension

Click the down-arrow and select the dimension in which the detector is used.

NOTE: CAN and non-CAN detectors in the second dimension must be configured using their own specific format (for example, G6135C:SN12345678). Failure to do so will result in incorrect second dimension data.

Transfer volume (µL)

In the first dimension, this is half the volume of the detector flow cell plus the volume between the detector flow cell and the 2D-LC valve. It determines the time between the detection of the peak and the switching of the valve.

In the second dimension, this is the volume between the 2D-LC valve and the ²D detector, including the column.

Add

Displays the Add Detector dialog box, which allows you to add a new detector to the table (for example, a non-CAN detector that was not detected during Autoconfiguration).

Remove

Removes the selected detector from the list.
