Pressure control allows you to set limits on the rate of change of the solvent flow to protect your analytical column.
If pressure control is active, the pump automatically ramps up or down the flow with the specified pressure ramp. Pressure control is applied when the pump is switched on or off or when a user interactively changes the flow. Pressure control is not applied during runs.
The Pressure Ramp value specifies the maximum rate of change of pressure in bar/s, psi/s, or MPa/s. You can use the buttons to set predefined values or change the value manually.
Button | Description |

Off | Switches off the pressure control (pressure ramp = 0). |
Slow | Sets a slow pressure ramp. |
Medium | Sets a medium pressure ramp. |
Fast | Sets a fast pressure ramp. |
