Which data can be exported?

ADFExport can export signals from Agilent LC (SFC or HPLC) instrument runs acquired with DAD, VWD or MWD.

Signals must have been acquired with OpenLab CDS or with ChemStation version C.01.01 or higher.

If you use ChemStation data, ensure that you have transferred the entire result set to your OpenLab CDS project.

If your data originates from a raw data import, the exported ADF files will be incomplete or incorrect, as instrument and module information gets lost during a raw data import. For example, SFC results will be exported as HPLC data. In this case, it is recommended that you export the data directly from ChemStation, using ADFExport for OpenLab ChemStation.

ADFExport does not export data acquired from hybrid SFC/HPLC systems. SFC technique is supported if the following applies:

  • You use at least a 1260 Infinity II SFC Control Module (G4301A).

  • You configured only one pump module to the instrument stack. The pump is a binary pump or an SFC pump (G4302A).

ADFExport does not export data acquired from third-party vendor LC, LC/MS, GC/MS, nor GC signals.
