Perform Negative Checktune
Perform a negative checktune prior to the oligo acquisition.
The requirements are specified by each laboratory. For example, consider the following parameters from the tune report:
m/z base peak should be within ± 0.1 amu of target mass in tune mix (standard tune mix includes 113, 602, 1034, 1634, 2234 m/z)
Source parameters in specification (voltage, gas temp/flow)
Gain settings
TIC height should meet requirement
