Schedule an analysis to be performed by the CDS client. The Sample Scheduler queues the scheduled analysis. As soon as the instrument is ready, the analysis will be submitted to the CDS client that performs and processes the analysis. The Sample Scheduler acquisition agent requires an Instrument Control License to submit the analysis to the instrument.
Prerequisites
Analyses must be in the Waiting state in order to be scheduled.
The instrument on which the analysis is to be scheduled must not be locked. Instruments are locked in the Control Panel. * * See "Lock instrument" in the Control Panel online help.
You have the Edit Analysis privilege.
Select the analysis in the Analysis Table.
Click Schedule in the Action ribbon tab.
The Analysis is scheduled. The Waiting state changes to Scheduled.
The name of the user who schedules the analyses is added to the User column. The scheduling user replaces the previous user value, regardless of whether the analysis was unassigned or has already been assigned to another user. The user who schedules the analyses will be reflected as owner of the analysis in the CDS audit trail. For analyses that LIMS submits in Scheduled state, the OpenLab service user defined in the Sample Scheduler configuration, remains the user of record. |
