The Scheduler is intended to perform analyses launched by the LIMS via commands. An alternative way is to add a new analysis directly from the Sample Scheduler client.
To add one or several analyses, use the Add option in the Edit tab.
Prerequisites
To be able to carry out the procedure as described, you need the privilege Add analysis (Sample Scheduler). Privileges are configured in the Control Panel (role type Administrative, section Sample Scheduler).
Select Single or Dual from the drop-down box in the ribbon, depending on whether the analysis is performed on a single injection source or a dual injection source instrument.
Below the drop-down box, enter the number of replicates.
Click Add.
A new analysis is added in Edited state at the end of the Analysis Table. The command default values defined in the Sample Scheduler configuration/ System Configuration are assigned to the new analysis: User, Project, Sample name, Data file name, Result path and Result name.
Assign a value to the parameters required by the CDS (project, instrument, acquisition method and injection source).
Only projects and instruments for which you are authorized are listed in the drop-down box of the respective column. Only instruments that are assigned to an Scheduler agent (configured in the Instrument Management panel of the Sample Scheduler configuration) are listed in the drop-down box of the Instrument column. |
Click Save or click a table cell of another analysis.
Your entries are validated. If the validation is successful, the analysis is generated in Waiting state.
If you have defined multiple replicates, for each replicate a single analysis is generated. The new analyses are assigned with the following sample name: ‘User_Name_DateTime_i’ (where i is the replicate number), or ‘User_Name_DateTime’ if replicates equals 1.
