Set a start time for a sequence

Define a date and time to start your sequence.

If you group a series of analyses with different start times, the start time for the resulting sequence is not specified. You must set the start time for the sequence.

  1. For the sequence in the Analysis table, click Planned start time and set a value for the start time. The value must correspond to the following date and time format dd/MM/yyyy hh:mm.

  2. Save your settings to set the sequence to Waiting state.

  3. Click Schedule in the Action ribbon tab.

The sequence is set to Scheduled state, and submitted to the instrument when the start time is reached.

Sequences or analyses that are provided with a start time have the highest priority in the run queue, whereby the set start time is decisive for the order in which they are processed. The sequence or analysis with the smallest start time has the highest priority. For identically start times, the sequence or analysis with the smallest ID has priority.

After restarting or resetting a sequence, the entry for the start time is removed. You must define a new start time for the sequence.
