Lock and unlock

Lock your session

On the File tab, select Lock.

Your session is now locked.

An analysis or sequence that was edited in the Analysis Table before the lock event remains in the state In Edition during the session lock.

Unlock your session

Enter your OpenLab user credentials.

You now return to your previous session.

Unlock another user session

Prerequisites

To unlock another user's session, you need the privilege Unlock any locked UI. Privileges are configured in the Control Panel (role type Administrative, section System Administration).

Enter your OpenLab user credentials.

A new session is started. The other user's session is closed. If there was an analysis in the state In Edition, the changes are discarded.
