Customize the Analysis Table

Use categories

The parameters displayed in the View tab are grouped into four categories. All categories are available for both analyses and sequences. The ribbon commands are located in the Analysis Table Columns group or the Sequence Table Columns group respectively. To specify a single values of interest in a category, click the submenu of the category and select the value. The corresponding column is then added in the Analysis Table or Sequence.

To see all parameters of a specific category, for example the Acquisition parameters when adding a new analysis, click on the corresponding category button. All columns corresponding to this cateogory are then added to the Analysis Table. To hide them, click the button again.

Group by parameter

To group the analysis, for example, by instrument drag the Instrument column header into the dedicated area just above the Analysis Table. You can define several group levels (Instrument/State/User…) by dragging and dropping successively several column headers in the dedicated area. To ungroup the analysis, drag the header back into the table.

To expand all groups or collapse all groups click the corresponding buttons in the View ribbon tab.

Several buttons in the View ribbon tab offer predefined groupings. See Analysis Table views.

Modify column position

To modify the column position, simply drag and drop the column header from one position to another.

To change the column width, move the mouse over the column header and drag the width as required.

Filter for specific values

To filter the information click the button in the column header and select the filter from list. A filter can be applied on several parameters (for example display all analyses performed on instrument Agilent7890_1 in Scheduled state).

This option can be used to filter the analyses by user, providing the user with his/her working list.

The applied filters are listed in the footer of the Sample Scheduler client.

To clear all the filters applied, click the button on the left top corner of the Analysis table.

Sort columns

To sort the content of a column by alphabetic order or increasing/decreasing number click the associated / button in the column header.

The table customization defined by the user is saved automatically when exiting the application.
