Roles

Roles are collections of privileges that can be assigned to users or groups. You can create a new role or use roles available in your system. The Control Panel includes the following roles:

• Everything
• System Administrator
• Instrument Administrator
• Project Administrator
• Project Content Deletion
• Instrument User
• Activity Log Access
• Chemist
• Technician

Additional roles are included with your system depending on the programs that you have installed.

• If you are using Chemstation, the following roles are available: ChemStation Administrator, Lab Manager, Analyst, and Operator. See ChemStation privileges.

• If you are using OpenLab Server, see OpenLab Server privileges.

• If you are using ECM Intelligent Reporter, the Intelligent Reporter role is available.
