Tasks allow you to execute specific instrument actions at any point within a sequence. The Task window is available in the Method layout.

Open the Tasks window in the Methods layout.
Define the required steps. To do this, you may:
Click
to add a step to the end of the list.
Click
to insert a step above the selected line.
Click
to delete the selected line.
Click
to move the selected line up or down.
Click to clear all steps and begin from scratch.
Click Save Task
to save your task file (*.tmx).
If your task has not been saved, click Save to save the task with the same name or Save As to save it with a new name.
Click Print
. The Task Report window opens.
Choose which information to include in your report.
In the Task Report window, click Print
to print the report or Export to export the report to Excel, PDF, or Word.
