Move calibration curve to another signal

OpenLab CDS offers to move a calibration curve from one signal to another. This can be helpful, for example, when you have imported a method with calibration curves from EZChrom, and want to adjust the signal names to OpenLab CDS.

Preparations

• To be able to carry out the procedure as described, you need the privilege Processing Method > Edit identification parameters . Privileges are configured in the Control Panel.

• If the project enforces method approval, the method status must be Generic. For details, see Method approval.

1. In the Processing Method window, select the Compounds > Identification node.

2. In the compound table, change the signal name.

3. If a calibration curve already exists for the modified compound, a dialog asks you if you want to discard that curve. Click No to keep the curve.

   The calibration curve is transferred to the new signal.
