Quantify with the curve of another compound or group

Preparations

• To be able to carry out the procedure as described, you need the privilege Processing Method > Edit calibration parameters . Privileges are configured in the Control Panel.

• If the project enforces method approval, the method status must be Generic. For details, see Method approval.

1. If the Processing Method window is hidden, click Processing Method in the Home ribbon tab to show the window.

2. In the Processing Method window, select the Compounds > Calibration node.

3. Under Mode, select Reference.

   The Curve reference column becomes editable.

4. Under Curve reference, select the compound or timed group whose calibration curve you want to use.

   The calibration curve of a timed group is available as a reference only if its curve model is Linear and the curve is forced through the origin.
