Add new qualifier

Data Analysis allows to manually define qualifier ions in an MS spectrum.

Preparations

• To be able to carry out the procedure as described, you need the privileges Processing Method > Edit identification parameters and Data Processing > Do manual compound identification . Privileges are configured in the Control Panel.

• If the project enforces method approval, the method status must be Generic. For details, see Method approval.

From the MS spectrum

1. In the MS Spectrum window, right-click the required m/z value, then select Add ion as qualifier to the compound.

2. In the Add ion as qualifier to the compound dialog, select the compound to which you want to add the qualifier.

From the EIC or SIM

1. In the Chromatograms window, right-click the peak in the EIC or SIM, then select Add peak as qualifier to the compound.

2. In the Add ion as qualifier to the compound dialog, select the compound to which you want to add the qualifier.
