Contradictory manual integration corrections

In the following scenario, there are contradictory manual integration corrections:

  • You move a baseline start point or end point to shorten a baseline.

  • You create a new peak within the previously removed part of the baseline.

Move a baseline start point or end point to shorten a baseline

Create a new peak within the previously removed part of the baseline

If you reprocess your data with this type of manual integration correction, the result depends on the manual integration mode. In the compatibility mode, the baseline removal is the prioritized event. The new peak will disappear on reprocessing. In the current default manual integration mode, the peak creation is the prioritized event. The new peak will persist on reprocessing.

Compatibility mode: Baseline and peak removed on reprocessing

Default mode: Peak persists on reprocessing
