Shift the expected retention times of all compounds

Preparations

• To be able to carry out the procedure as described, you need the privilege Processing Method > Edit identification parameters . Privileges are configured in the Control Panel.

• If the project enforces method approval, the method status must be Generic. For details, see Method approval.

1. In the Processing Method window, select the compound table in the Compounds > Identification node.

2. In the ribbon, select the Method ribbon tab.

3. Enter the value by which you want to shift the expected retention times in one of the input boxes:

   • Absolute (min): This value will be added to the retention times.

   • Relative (%): This percentage will be added to the retention times.

   NOTE

   To reduce the expected retention times, enter a negative value.

4. Press Enter.

   The expected retention times of all compounds in the Compound Identification Table are shifted by the given amount.
