Import EZChrom data

You can import data from older EZChrom releases — even those that did not yet write results in the ACAML format. In Data Analysis, you create a new result set from the old data files.

Supported versions: EZChrom 3.3.2 or higher

Privileges

• Project Management > Edit content of project

• OpenLab CDS: Data Analysis > Import raw data
  Privileges are configured in the Control Panel.

1. In the Data Selection view: On the Import/Export ribbon tab, click Import Raw Data .

2. A dialog opens in local file system of your PC. Browse to the EZChrom data, and select the .dat files that you want to import. Hold the Ctrl or Shift key to select multiple items.

3. In the Create New Result Set dialog, adjust the order of injections, or remove individual injections.

   Optionally, provide a processing method for the new result set. Check the name and location for the new result set.

The import includes injection parameters, raw data, and, if available, data and result set audit trails.

Imported EZChrom audit trails can be searched, printed, exported, or reviewed as any other audit trail. NOTE: If the EZchrom data does not contain any GMT offset information, the local GMT information is appended to the dates in Data Analysis.

The following injection parameters are imported:

• Sample name

• Vial number

• Operator

• Acquisition date/time

• Acquisition volume

• Acquisition method name (if available)
