This procedure explains how to manually lock the Data Analysis session. The session is automatically locked if there is no user activity on the computer for a certain time. The inactivity time is set in the Control Panel.
Prerequisites
This feature is only available if you log in to OpenLab CDS with a username and password. User authentication is configured in the Control Panel (see System Configuration).
To lock the session, press [Ctrl]+[L].
or Select the File ribbon tab, and click Lock.
To unlock the session, log in with your own user name and password. Alternatively, any user with the privilege to unlock a locked user interface can log in. Privileges are configured in the Control Panel.
If a different user unlocks a locked user interface, any data or methods that are still open will be closed. A warning is shown if there are unsaved items. Unsaved report templates from the first user will remain open. |
