Change the numeric precision of displayed numbers

OpenLab CDS uses the double-precision format to store the data. This corresponds to approximately 16 decimal digits.

The following procedure describes how to change the number of displayed decimals. The changed display does not change the saved results.

  1. Right-click the required column, and select Numeric precision....

  2. In the dialog, set the number of decimals you want to show in the selected column.

  3. Click OK.

  4. The values in the selected column will be shown with the given number of decimals. The changed display does not change the saved results. If you use the value in a report, the report template may use a different numeric precision.

The numeric precision settings for method parameters (e.g. Absolute RT window (min), Level 1) are stored per method.

The numeric precision settings for injection results (e.g. Area, Height) are stored individually for each user.
