Request Tune Control

This procedure can be run from any of the Tune or Maintenance windows when the MS is in the idle or vented state and not under tune control.

1. Click Method > MSD > Tune > Autotune.   
   
   
   
2. Click Request tune control . The icon changes to Release Tune Control and the instrument status changes from green to orange to indicate that the instrument is in the Tuning state. The Tune File associated with the currently loaded Method is displayed.
