Bakeout

1. Request tune control and click Bakeout.

2. Enter the ion source and quad bake temperatures and final temperatures.

3. Enter a time to hold the bakeout temperature specified.

4. Enter an equilibrium time to hold the final temperature specified before the MSD is available for acquiring data.

5. Click Start to begin the process. The progress bar is displayed and the status log presents the tasks as they occur in the process.



6. Release tune control.
