This check box is marked to indicate that an optional column switching valve has been detected during autoconfiguration. For manual configuration, mark the Valve installed check box to indicate that a column switching valve installed is installed.
The valve type is automatically detected during autoconfiguration. For manual configuration, select the valve type from the drop-down list.
Not all column compartments support all valve types. Only the supported valve types are shown in the drop-down list. |
Specify the column switching valve parameters in the Valve section of the method setup.
For all valve types except Generic Valve, the number of Valve Ports and Valve Positions and the Maximum Valve Pressure are given automatically. For the Generic Valve type, enter these values manually.
