Temperature of Selected Zone (Valve Thermostat Cluster)

The Temperature of Selected Zone section enables you to set the temperature of the temperature zone containing the path/column currently selected in the Path/Column section.

Click the down-arrow and select the temperature control mode from the drop-down list:

Not Controlled

Turns off temperature control of the zone.

As Detector Cell

Sets the temperature of the zone to the cell temperature of the configured detector. This option is available only when a detector with a temperature-controlled cell is configured. When more than one detector that supports this function is configured, select the detector that will control the temperature from the Temperature As Detector Cell section of the Valve Thermostat Cluster Control.

Combined

(Right side only)

Sets the temperature of the right zone to the same as the left zone.

Controlled

Allows you to set the zone to a specific temperature. Enter the required temperature in the Temperature field.

Unchanged

(MCT and ICC only)

Leaves the temperature setting unchanged. The zone keeps the setting that is currently stored in the instrument.

Changes you make here are reflected in the Temperature Settings section of the Advanced method parameters.

If you select a full-length column in the Path/Column section, both left and right temperature zones are displayed. The left zone settings are active, but the right zone settings are read-only. Any changes you make to the left zone settings are reflected in the right zone. If you wish to make different changes to the right zone only, use the Temperature Settings section.
