Mark the Recovery on the track check box to specify that the same plate is used for both fractions and recovery. For more information, see Using Recovery Locations.
The Contact Control Adjustment influences the speed of the needle movement from the surface of a MALDI target upwards. This parameter is used for applications using an additional flow (for example, matrix flow) to the main flow.
Increasing the Contact Control Adjustment value (up to 10) increases the needle lift-up speed. Decreasing the value (factor < 1.0) results in a lower needle lift-up speed. The default value is 1.0.
