Flush Gradient (2D-LC)

To flush the transfer capillaries and loops, you can choose to use the Analytical Gradient, or you can set up a custom Flush Gradient. If you choose the Custom Gradient option, specify a gradient Duration; the Equilibration time is the same as that set in the Gradient Phases section. Use the table to set up the flush gradient:

Time (min)

Specify the time for the change of solvent composition in this field.

B (%)

Specify the percentage of solvent that is delivered by channel B at the specified time. Channel A always delivers the remaining volume, %A = (100-%B). The solvent composition changes linearly from one setpoint to the next.

Add

Appends a line to the gradient table.

Remove

Deletes the selected line in the gradient table

Clear All

Clears the gradient table

Cut

Deletes the currently selected line in the gradient table and places it on the clipboard.

Copy

Copies the currently selected line in the gradient table to the clipboard.

Paste

Pastes the line on the clipboard into the gradient table according to its time.

The changes you make to the gradient table are synchronized with the flush gradient display at the right of the Preview and vice versa.

The Flush Gradient is not available in Comprehensive mode.
