Classical Flow-through is the standard injection mode, where the sample is injected onto the column using the solvent flow through the sample loop. |

In Feed injection mode, the sample is drawn into the sample loop, where it is pre-pressurized before being injected onto the column at a feed speed specified in Feed Injection. This enables samples in strong solvents to be injected into the solvent flow at a controlled speed that does not compromise the chromatography. In Feed Injection mode, the dead volume of the sampler is minimized because the solvent flow path does not include the loop or needle volume |
