2.8 High vacuum gauge is reading too high a pressure.

Probable Causes

Safety fault turns off high vacuum gauge

Vacuum leak

Bad high vacuum gauge

Suggested Actions

If the actual reading is 9.94 x 10 -1 Torr, there may be a safety fault causing the gauge to go into Standby. These usually include

        • Solvent leak or

        • Temperature leak or

        • Voltage issue

Power cycle the instruments to see if you can get rid of the fault.
