Put the SQ instrument in Standby (LC/MS)
You use the commands in the shortcut menu for the SQ device to put the instrument in Standby for LC/MSD iQ instruments.
- If needed, click Instrument Status.
- In the Instrument Status window, click the Dashboard tab.
- If needed, click Take. In this image, Take is already selected.
- Right-click the SQ device, and select Standby.
- The SQ is in standby and is not ready to run.
- Quad temperature is set to 65 °C.
- Drying gas heater temperature is set to 300 °C.
- If the APCI is installed, vaporizer gas temperature is set to 325 °C.
- If the APPI is installed, you can choose to turn the APPI lamp on or off.
- Nebulizer pressure is set to 15 psig.
- Drying gas flow is set to 3 L/min nitrogen.
- 'Stream' Selector valve set to LC—>waste.
