Data storage (LC/MS)
Data can be saved in the data file as centroid data.
You don't set this value in the method.
In Tune, you set this value in the Tune > Manual Tune > Acquisition Section (LC/MS).
Profile MS data shows a collection of signals over multiple scans.
Centroid MS data shows discrete m/z values. The file size is significantly smaller if you have centroid data.
