The Octopole DC controls the DC offset voltage applied to the octopole. The DC offset voltage affects the momentum of the ions as they pass through the octopole. Octopole DC is almost always set to the default value.

During manual tuning, the Octopole DC voltage can be ramped to find an optimum value. Ramp defaults and limits are:
