What do you want to do?

Manually tune the MS (LC/MS)

Prepare for manual tuning (LC/MS)

User Interface

Tune file

The name of the current tune file. You can use the icons in the Tune Toolbar to open and save a tune file.

Fast scan

Whether or not the current tune file is a Fast scan tune file.

Ion source

The source that is configured with the current instrument.

Diverter

Whether the stream from the LC is going into Waste or into the MS.

Calibrant on

Whether or not the calibrant is flowing.

Polarity

Positive or Negative.

Scan type

Scan, SIM, or Profile.

Detector Parameters

Iris (V)

The Iris voltage affects ions of all masses in a similar manner. See Iris (LC/MS).

HED (kV)

The high-energy-dynode (HED) electron multiplier. See HED (LC/MS).

EMV (V)

The electron multiplier voltage. See EMV (LC/MS).

Adjust Detector Gain button

Adjusts the gain which is a ratio of the output current and the input current for the HED electron multiplier. See Adjust Detector Gain Button (LC/MS). It checks that the target abundances are within tolerances.

Ramp Parameters

See Ramp Section (LC/MS).
